The Institute for Social and Health Psychology was founded in 1994 with the aim to implement different activities in the area of scientific research, cunseling and prevention, clinical diagnostics and treatment as well as psychotherapy as a single independent institution. The multidisciplinary team consists of clinical and health psychologists, educationalists, economists, sociologists and psychotherapists. The staff of the Research Division at ISG has been actively involved in different European research projects in the three man fields of drug consumption, addiction prevention (health promotion) and integration of migrants. Therefore the ISG is core member partner in several research networks on a European level such as the following:
